The Haven is owned by Brian & Caroline Collins, with the addition our new baby ‘Rod’, this makes us a real family business our aim is to ensure that your companion is given the very best of care & attention while in our care. We want you to feel safe, secure & confident that your Dog or Cat or small animal will be well cared for.
The Haven was established in 1961, Brian took over in 2007.
My first love are my Airedale Terriers & in recent years my Welsh Terriers which I have been showing at Championship level all over the UK and more recently in Europe including Crufts for nearly 30 years.

Since I took over the Haven in 2007, I brought with me many years of experience looking after and caring for dogs, it is my intention to provide the very best care for all the animals that come into our care.
I believe that the service we offer here is second to none and I invite you to come and see for your self.
It is my belief with the years of experience that I have, not only looking after my own dogs, which are very precious to me, but also in looking after other peoples Dogs & Cats, this gives me the knowledge to know that not all the boarders that come into our care have the same requirements. Some require that little bit of extra care, it may be because of age, health or being slightly nervous.

We pride ourselves that we are not like other companies with answer phone messages, we are here 24 hours a day, while we would ask that customers contact us at sensible times we will answer your call in evening times and at weekends.
